About Grand Junction Film Commission

The Grand Junction Film Commission promotes and supports the film industry in Central Western Colorado. One of the critical roles of the Grand Junction Film Commission is to showcase the unique and diverse features of the city and its surrounding communities that make it an attractive destination for filmmakers. We showcase the city’s noteworthy elements, like natural landscapes, architectural gems, and cultural landmarks, as potential backdrops for film and TV.

We actively market Grand Junction as a film-friendly destination through industry events, online resources, and participation in film festivals. Additionally, the Grand Junction Film Commission actively engages with local businesses, organizations, and government entities to foster a supportive environment for the film industry. We collaborate with local production companies, rental services, caterers, and other relevant stakeholders to encourage economic growth and job creation within the film sector.
